Mediumship is not just about proving that life continues after death.
It is also about healing.
When someone we love passes, it can feel like a part of our heart has gone with them. We may be left with questions, guilt, shock, unfinished conversations, or words we never had the chance to say.
Mediumship can bring comfort into those tender places.
Spirit often comes through to let us know they are at peace. They may acknowledge what happened, speak about family, mention memories, or bring through validations that no one else could know.
But often, the message beneath every message is love.
“I am okay.”
“I am still with you.”
“I heard you.”
“I know what you did for me.”
“I love you.”
These messages can bring a sense of peace that reaches places words alone cannot.
Mediumship does not remove grief. Nothing can erase love, and grief is love with nowhere physical to go. But it can soften the pain. It can help people breathe again. It can remind them that the relationship has not ended, it has changed.
Some people worry that connecting with spirit will make them sadder. But often, it brings the opposite. It brings relief. It brings hope. It brings a feeling of being held.
Spirit does not want us to stop living.
They want us to carry their love forward.
They want us to laugh again, dream again, create again, and remember that they are still cheering us on from the other side.
Healing begins when we realise goodbye was never the end.
